3D Anaglyph Images

3D Disco The disco ball doesn't quite pop as much as I would like, as it was hard to angle the pictures due to the tapestry being behind a spherical object. Still, I think that the sphericalness of it helps with the illusion. 3D Door I think the chairs in the next room really help add some perspective and make this one stand out. I like all the layers this one has to it. 3D Deer I found this target practice deer near campus and thought it would look good in 3D. It almost looks like you can reach out and pet it, although I don't know anyone would do that, it's made of plastic. 3D Death The skeleton image is my favorite because he really stands out in front of my fake plants.

My Digital Collage Images

Darth's Self Care Day After a long day of doing evil space stuff, I decided Vader should take a relaxing day off. I figured a bath would be the perfect place to add the rubber ducky. My favorite thing about this image is the extra layer of bubbles I added by cutting them out of the original image and lowering the opacity to make it look more realistic. I also changed the dimensions of the poster in the background. Low Budget live Action Mario I started by finding a guy in a bad bowser costume and figured it would be fun to find other interesting takes on super Mario characters and add them to a digital background. I wanted it to kind of look like a poorly made live-action movie poster because this is what I'm hoping the upcoming Super Mario movie looks like. Stained Glass Eyes Stained glass windows are my favorite element of gothic architecture, soI found a way to incorporate it into the background. I found some pictures of ivy and colored the background to alpha and added it i...

Images That Inspire Me

Fairy Glenn on the Isle of Skye in Scotland The Isle of Skye is not only a place that my parents vaguely named me after, but also a location at the top of my travel list. I picked this image specifically due to its vibrancy and whimsical otherworldly feel. The Isle of Skye has been inhabited for thousands of years and  its castles, natural pools, and rock formations connects  me to the imagery  in Celtic  myths and history I grew up studying. That staircase scene from The Labyrinth The Labyrinth was a movie I watched a lot growing up and I've come to realize that it may be partially responsible for my love for dark fantasy aesthetics and weird surrealist architecture. The scene in particular toward the climax of the movie has always stood out to me. I'd watch the movie if you'd haven't, although the goblin kings a creep he's played by David Bowie and its a classic! I like how yo can't tell which way is up or down, its very disorienting. A Longer Introduction

Greetings and salutations. In this post i'm going to let you in on some of my interests and a few things that shape me as an individual. I grew up near the Smokey Mountains, spending most of my time with books, TV, and an overactive imagination. Some of my favorite shows growing up was the original Teen Titans, Avatar the Last Air Bender, and any/everything Scooby Doo related. Currently I am a big fan of Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World and Star Trek: The Original Series. I collect hobbies like Pokemon cards, some of which include hiking, painting, cooking Asian food, jazz singing, reading, and collecting antiques. I just started picking up the electric guitar, but so far all I can play is "Seven Nation Army" on the E string. I am a huge nerd for ancient history and archaeology, and could tell you about ten facts you never wanted to know off the top of my head. Below is one of my favorite pictures from one of the walks that I often take to release my existential dread and l...

Hey. My name is Skylar, but my friends call me Sky. I am working on my associates in General Studies at Bethel University for scholarship purposes. I am in Renaissance Theater and plan on studying Business Management in the future. I am a human and very much not a disguised lizard person.
